2025 International Conference on Simulation, Modeling and Big Data Concludes Successfully Held

On August 28, 2025 International Conference on Simulation, Modeling and Big Data (SMBD 2025) was held at the Linping Campus of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. The conference brought together renowned experts and scholars in the fields of simulation, modeling, and big data to have in-depth discussions and exchanges on the latest research achievements and technological developments, further promoting close interactions between academia and industry.

The conference was hosted by Shandong Jiaotong University and Hainan Tropical Ocean University, co-organized by AEIC Academic Exchange Center, with support from DonSys Technology (Shandong) Co.,Ltd. and the International Institute of Fashion Technology of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Huaan Testing Group Co., Ltd. provided strong support, and AiScholar offered full technical and service support throughout the event, injecting solid momentum into the smooth hosting of the conference and the innovation-driven academic exchanges.

Opening Ceremony

Opening remarks by Xiuling Li

The conference was chaired by Professor Kunpeng Zhao from Shandong Jiaotong University.Xiuling Li, President of Shandong Jiaotong University, delivered the opening speech, extending sincere greetings to all participants and introducing the university’s achievements in disciplines such as intelligent transportation, smart construction, and big data. President Li emphasized the importance of simulation, modeling, and big data technologies and their wide applications across various fields. Furthermore, he pointed out that Hangzhou, as a leading city in the digital economy, provided an excellent platform for communication during the conference. Finally, President Li called for strengthened cooperation to promote technological advancement and wished the conference a complete success.

Keynote Speeches

During the keynote session, speakers including Professor Qinxie Dong, Foreign Academician of the Japan Engineering Academy and professor at Shandong Jiaotong University; Professor Teng Zhou from Hainan University; Professor Xiangjie Kong, recipient of the Zhejiang Provincial Distinguished Young Scholar Fund and Associate Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University of Technology; Chairman Jie Chen of Huaan Testing Group Co., Ltd.; and Peiran Li, General Manager of Business Innovation Department at Shandong Inspur Intelligent Energy Technology Co., Ltd., shared their insights on critical topics. They presented cutting-edge academic achievements and offered forward-looking professional perspectives.

Oral Presentations

In the afternoon oral presentation session, participants had the opportunity to showcase their research and engage in intellectual exchanges. Six scholars from Hainan University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, and Hebei College of Engineering and Technology actively presented their research and shared innovative ideas.
